We need a Feuding Family Comedy with the Gleesons and Skarsgards but really focus on their goody personalities.
Genius idea!!
SOMEONE MAKE THIS
what do ya mean goody personalities? is that a typo?
The raw Irish energy coming off this chaos is magnificent
@L.T. Esquilax Not sure what this has to do with the English but thank you for replying to his year old comment that I'd completely forgotten about because it means I get to watch this clip again.
The Gleeson family is quite talented. All fantastic actors! Can't wait to see the show!
I don’t think Seth was ready for how freely the Irish affectionately call people idiots 🤣🤣. They go in, insulting you, while good naturedly expecting you to insult them back. I took me a year of living in Ireland to get used to it. 😂😂🤣🤣
oh sh*t really? Guess high strung me will have to think about visiting Ireland. LOL
That's where we Australians inherited it from.
When we Irish insult you like that, it's more like saying "Haha, isn't it funny that in this moment you acted a bit like an idiot?" than saying "By my assessment you are an actual idiot."
@@chrisisaaclangan Don't you mean Eejit?
It means we like you if we can give you an insult, its the compliments you need to watch out for 🙂
It just dawned on me that Domhnall Gleeson is low key one of the biggest stars in the world
He’s been in some of the biggest stuff of the later 10’s, but I will always love him for The Revenant.
don’t think most would know him on the street? feel you need to star in the big ones mentioned, not be an indeed great support. he’s only starred in indies but was phenomenal imo.
The Irish accent is so beautiful. ☘️
My fave!
'Tis sure.
You obviously haven't heard me shout at my kids
We get away with murder worldwide with our accents 😂
Of course, this is a posh Dub accent. There is no single Irish accent, much like there is no single American accent.
Good lord that whole family is a delight
Brian is the spit of his da!! Legends!☘
Oh cool, it wasn’t just me!
I immediately thought the same thing. Love their Da!
Brian played the younger version if Brendans character in Assassins Creed
he sounds like his da so allegedly Dom sounds like their ma! You only see a little of Brendan on Dom so Im willing to bet he got his mom's looks.
They are as sound as their dad as well!
These lads and their dad are hugely underrated in the roles for which they aren’t famous. Top lads!
I'm gonna point out for the millionth time that Irish names ARE pronounced how they're spelled, the spellings make perfect sense IN IRISH.
I'm glad SOMEONE pointed out this VERY obvious thing that everyone should inherently know. For too many of my fellow Americans, especially, this seems to be a concept impossible to fully grasp.
Right???
Yeah like you don't see people taking the piss out of Timothee Chalamet's name because it's French. People seem to consider Irish as just some silly language. It's just disrespectful.
@@thehallofvalhalla Oh, no - people make fun of his name non-stop. I don't, but there have been entire skits of it. Look it up on here. BTW - I have an Irish last name that EVERYONE mangles.
I’m pretty sure Irish people just can’t spell. That’s why they talk all weird
I meet Domhnall on a flight once. Had a lovely chat.
He was very charming and gracious.
Really pleased to hear he was nice!
@@LV-hn5uh Why wouldn’t he be you can just tell there genuine nice people and lovely family.Like Ireland is its wonderful welll we think it is best music 🎼 people and peace to all.🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️
@@DianeD862Unfortunately some actors become absolute arseholes when they achieve success. Really glad that Domhnall hasn't fallen into that trap!
I would totally ask his number lol
@@LV-hn5uh His father wouldn't be happy if he was rude to the public
Is this a potential pairing for day drinking with Seth and Josh??? 🤔😆😆 *Birdman handrub*
And if they invite Brendon too, then we can add Seth's yinzer dad! lol
what a fantastic idea
@@missybarbour6885 we can't leave hilary at home if there's drinking, i've never met or seen the famous mary weldon (mrs. brendan gleeson) either? and bring dipper to meet frisbee
@@janethalken8269 llllllllll
Oh ya! It’ll be a so much fun!
Domnhall Gleeson is such a great actor!
Do you think Caleb ever escaped after Ex Machina?
@@aidanyelsma7762 i hope so!
@@caterinatiburzi3663 I know this is pessimistic, but I don’t think he did.
As is Brian. Watch him in the tv series Resistance on Netflix
he is! and brian’s really good in the new show bad sisters
They're both lovely looking but Domnhall is something else, he's just stunning. But then again I have a thing for beautiful, pale redheads like that ❤️
I think we NEED to see a Meyers brothers & a Gleeson brothers outing one day!
Omg the Gleeson and Meyers brothers go day drinking 🤣😭
@@carmendebenedictis-larue6250 Day drinking would be excellent.
Talented family. I rewatched The Revenant again this week. Domhhall's performance was spot-on. Well done lads.
Thank you for Domhnall bringing up the name pronounciations! Thought I was going mad hearing hear brian being mispronounced, than I thought did he just changed it because peope where cocking it up but nope people were just cocking it up.
it always thought there was a fada or a second i with that pronunciation
@@siramea yeah i think there is but you know how much the fada gets forgotten about
I want all four of those Gleeson brothers in a film.. They're all so talented!
And their dad
I love all three of these men so much.
It's rare I get to name-drop! I once spent some time (like 45 minutes) hanging out with Brendan Gleeson while he was filming in Northern Ireland, a very lovely and interesting man.
The Gleesons and Skarsgards remind me of what a film critic once famously said about the Bridges (for you young whipper snappers that's Lloyd and his sons Beau and Jeff). He said that "...the Bridges give nepotism a good name." As much as we Americans are reflexively adverse to dynasties and have a fetish to meritocracy to there is no denying the tremendous talent and the love and dedication to the craft.
I was so sad that Bill wasn't in the hp films more. When I saw Domnhall, I was like YES! thats Bill!
And their dad played Madeye!
@@missybarbour6885 indeed. Brendan is great!
yeah, he should have been in the fifth movie and sixth movie as well
when you realize that Dom is the oldest of four brothers and that's why he has no kids. Being an older sibling to more than one sibling while growing up is tough.
I only have one sibling (who was born when I was 11) and I feel like I've raised a child already. No more children for me, thanks.
I'm the second one out of 4 and the oldest wasn't really with us a lot of the time so I acted like I was the oldest and I had to raise my little siblings, the day my younger sister was born I lost all interest in having kids
Domhnall is a legend!!! Just so funny! Def big brother vibe! Love Brian too and the show is funny!
We love the Gleesons!!!
The Gleeson boys are so delightful.
They and other members of the family are musical as well. Briain reminds me of their uncle Barry, whom I know.
Yes, great, thanks. My crush on Brian Gleeson is alive and well.
This is so Irish 😂 Brian sounds so much like Brendan it’s scary 😂
Brian deserves more acclaim for performance in Bad Sisters!
Mygoooooood. Domhnall is so beautiful 😍😍😍😍
Domhnall being cute, sarcastic, funny and absolutely handsome in one go 😍🥺🥰😅😢😭🤣🥰🥺😍🥺🥰🥺😍🥺🥰🥺😍🥺🥰🥺😍🥺🥰🥺😍🥺🥰🥺
they really made seth work for this LOL. love them
So Brian has his dad’s voice. Amazing how genes pass down accents as well.
Vocal chords are the only things that are genetic. The rest he got from growing up with him, no doubt!
Totally watched this to hear that beautiful Irish accent and laugh from Domhnall alone 😍
You’re grinning, I’m grinning.
I love both of them but wow they couldn't look less alike lol. Domhnall must look a lot like his mother. Works out pretty well when they're not playing brothers, I suppose.
We need “Run” season 2!!!
right??? because there's no way you walk away from that....no way
Both brothers were just featured, almost simultaneously, in separate TV series'. Domhnall in The Patient on FX/Hulu and Brian in Bad Sisters on Apple TV+. Both shows were good but Bad Sisters was especially excellent.
This is the first time I've seen Domhnall not in a movie, and NEVER realised he was Irish :O this is so weird for me. He has either a posh or manic English accent in everything I've seen him in so far
You should check out his episode of Black Mirror, he get's to do an Irish accent in that
The episode with the play, 12 Angry women, I nearly vomited laughing
Just watched Frank of Ireland. Friggin hilarious. Hope they do more.
These guys are hilarious.
😂😂😂😂...that short bedroom scene is just effing hilarious 🤗
Great lads. Very talented too of course...☺
Good energy. Great interview. Going to watch the movie tomorrow.
Lol, it was a tv show, not a movie. But it was very funny.
I love how Irish Americans slip into the accent when talking with Irish folk lol I did it all the time with my professor
They need to make a crazy movie similar to Brendans like Braveheart or Gangs of New York, but just add his sons as insane characters.
like they were in "mother" !
Would pay to watch, tbh
So wholesome omg
Well, this was a brilliant trainwreck of an interview, not that I could pronounce their names.
DOE-null
BREE-yun
i can't wait to watch this show.
this is so chaotic, i love it
This was an awesome one 💜💜💜
they would be perfect for a funny viking movie
Why isn't Brian more famous?
Domhnall is talented but I miss seeing more Brian too 😢
I LOVE FRANK OF IRELAND HAHAHA. I just recently saw it. It's so funny. I love Irish humor hahha
I'm on my way to Ireland! ❤️❤️❤️
Wait another few months till the pubs are open and you don’t have to suck a pint through your mask!
Make sure you do the 14 days quarantine in the hotel, we don’t want our numbers to rise again 😉
@@vickygarnett7623 I assure you if they rise they are not because of me, love! 😎
Your in with me buster 😂
What the hell was that. And how can I get a multi-pack.
I would love to sit at the dinner table with this family and Dipper the dog too.
Alfred I just started following you a few months ago, you good dude may god continue to bless you would love to meet you when I visit Florida
I need all the Gleeson’s in one movie
Shoes in bed???? absolutely savage
Irish swearing is the best! Roddy Doyle really nails it
No us Irish nail it...then again Roddy was a teacher so I'm thinking it was a mutual exchange of knowledge.
The running gags are hilarious.
Seth talked about Brendan Gleeson, without mentioning In Bruges?
I just lost a BIG bet.
I was talking to someone about these two Irish actors and joked that with Domhnall, the mh is (merely hanging) with the other letters and you don't say them. And Brian is like Brianna, without the 'na'.
Today is Domhnall Gleeson bday
I just grew a four leaf clover while watching this
Bet it was 4am for the brothers
Midnight or earlier
wow i didn't even realize that, yeahhh... glad they could make a show in ireland and not have to get on a plane during this sucky pantemic
@@janethalken8269 but the show finished taping by 5 or 6, I think. So that's early enough yet for them
@@LindaC616 if they film in new york it would be 10 or 11 then so yeah not that late
@Dreams Come True The show is recorded at 2pm NY time which is 9am Irish time.

When I grow up I WANNA marry Domhnall
do they know Irish is a different language and thats why the names are pronounced differently?
He's so fine jesus
Brian (Bry-An) is not an uncommon name. I have two good American Friends named Brian here in America and I never once thought to call them Bree-Ann . Jeepers Domhnall is much harder to get right.
Will people ever be completely separated from the idea that their dad is a genius actor? I think the Skaaragards have it down now, but it may be awhile for these two. And that’s no knock to them! It’s just rough to get over the performances in things like Lake Placid and 28 Days Later. 😂
did you not love lake placid? i sure did.
So you haven't seen Calvary, In Bruges, or many of the other fantastic films starring Brendan Gleeson.
I think ample thought might be a bit generous
Mr. Mercedes.
Lake placid was one of his earlier works. Plenty of good actors in that mediocre film. He’s still fantastic. Watch him in the General, The Guard, In Bruges, Calvary and Mr.Mercedes. He’s one of the best out there.
Else Segar created the name Dufus/character in his comic strip of Popeye the Sailor.
Is it just me or does Seth have a slight Irish tone when talking to the brothers ?
This is hilarious
Tell me, does the Domhnall have a social media page? Maybe the brothers have it? Thank you🙏🌹
Brian Gleeson was great in The Bisexual, im glad he's getting bigger
Kinda bummed they didn’t get Seth’s “did he say yes right away?” Joke
I didn't get it either, care to explain?
@@numsidumsragitsch haha in the question he asked before they didn’t answer for an awkward amount of time and laughed a little so the follow up question of “if he answered right away” was a joke about that
@@ryanmcsweeney7809 Ah thanks! Was trying way too hard to understand the irish to pick up on such nuances ... ;)
@@numsidumsragitsch hahaha oh yeah no not a high brow joke or anything just a quick subtle one lol
But Brian got it, didnt he? When he deliberately waited, stroking his beard before answering - and then they all laugh. 🤷🏻♂️
finding out it’s not DOM HALL is crazy to me
I know right ! Crazy that other countries and cultures have their own names.
@@RB-NZ2 erm, i just read things like i see em, can’t help how i see it
@@sarah-qz5oh I'd never heard the name Beyonce before Beyonce Knowles, and I read it as bay-once! 😊
Up the ireland 🇮🇪
I love Ireland but I suspect you make your spellings so disconnected from pronounciation so the rest of the world looks stupid when we read them out loud.
@@jakestroll6518 It's because Ogham, the original Irish alphabet had a number of sounds that didn't exactly map onto the Roman one when Irish was started to be written with it instead. That said, it doesn't help that those sounds/Ogham letters can be quite different depending on their use in a word - mh in Domhnall extends the o sound, but in my brother Damhan's name, it's a v, same as Niamh
@@jakestroll6518 stfu. I know you're joking but it's annoying. Irish spellings make sense in Irish. Don't apply another language's rules to it.
@@jakestroll6518 Irish words were here first, you all aren't pronunciation things they 'right' way. Irish is one of oldest languages in the world that is still used today and has very different origin to languages you might be familiar with. It makes perfect sense in Irish. But Irish didn't travel like French, Italian, Spanish or German. The Irish didn't try to build an Empire and take the language with with them, we were the colonised ones and the language was decimated under the British control, so while most of us use English more, Irish is very important to us.
When one of you looks like your Dad, and the other looks like the Milkman.
:O OMG!!! What a thing to say!!!
They actually have 2 parents. Rampant misogynist .
He was a very hairy baby.
Domhnall looks like his Momsie.
I must be the only one who still knows Brian as "Briainn" gleason....thats his real pronoun lol pronounced {brinn}
Since when is Brian pronounced BREEan over here? Every Brian I know is just...Brian. So are they taking the piss?
Brian (or Brían as some would spell it) is an Irish name, so it’s pronounced differently :)
@@aliciameaddows5065 I am in Ireland, and all the Brians I know, and there are quite a few, not a one is pronounced Bree-an.
Bree-in is the Irish-language pronunciation of the name.
@@cathalobaoghaill Well as much as that may be, none of the Brians I know here in Sligo go by Bree-in.

It is!!! I can’t unsee it. And I don’t want to 😀😅

Brían even sounds like Brendan
